A NEW COLLABORATION: DYNAMIC FOAM RECYCLED + BLOOM™ BOASTS UP TO 15% BIO AND UP TO 65% RECYCLED CONTENT

Steamboat Springs, CO | TBD 2021 — In the past year, Dynamic Foam and BLOOM™ have teamed up to create a high-performance EVA using bio-based algae and post-consumer recycled EVA content. There are several formulations available in sheet or finished component form.
Originally developed for footwear, Recycled + BLOOM™ has a wide range of applications including automobiles, luggage, insulation and more.
“Sustainability initiatives continue to be a priority for footwear and other consumer goods brands. Previously companies would have to choose between bio and post-consumer recycled material, so we developed a material using both.” -Katie O’Hara, Director of Account Management, Dynamic Foam.
“BLOOM™ materials use algae to clean water, reduce CO2 emissions and replace plastics in consumer products. Combining our impact-focused BLOOM™ materials with post-consumer recycled materials from Dynamic Foam allow us to offer foams that can achieve a high level of performance while also communicating the Eco Fact benefits in a relatable way.” – Ryan Hunt, Co-Founder & CTO, Bloom.
Dynamic Foam is a Colorado based footwear and materials company that has developed the iON Element™ post-consumer recycled line of materials. These are derived from a single-source recycling/repurposing program utilizing EVA film originally used to cover greenhouses. Over 1.9 million kgs have been saved from landfills to date.
BLOOM™ is a sustainable materials manufacturer based in Mississippi. All materials are third-party verified and backed by a peer-reviewed life cycle analysis that guarantees your product will be verifiably better for the environment.
